AECA § 38 — control of arms exports and imports

ITAR · Authority

22 U.S.C. 2778. Authorizes the President to control the export and import of defense articles and defense services, to designate the USML, to require licenses, to register manufacturers, exporters, and brokers, and to impose criminal and civil penalties. ITAR is the implementing regulation. Willful violations are felonies.
