EAR · Part 774 · Cat. 0

Many formerly-USML firearms, close arms, and related parts now on the CCL. Overlay ATF permanent-import rules and ITAR Category I for what remains.

Takes effect 2026-11-20 — ECCNs 0A501.f and 0A502.f (FR 2026-14942)

Takes effect 2026-11-20: BIS IFR FR 2026-14942 (91 FR 46252) adds 0A501.f (silencers, mufflers, and sound suppressors for use with 0A501.a or .b, 0A506 or 0A507 items) and 0A502.f (for exclusive use with 0A502 or 0A508 shotguns), and adds § 742.6(a)(14) and (b)(15) (RS license requirement for 0A502.f to destinations other than those listed there). Reasons for control: 0A501.f NS1, RS1, FC1, UN, AT1; 0A502.f FC1, UN, AT1 and RS under § 742.6(a)(14) (91 FR 46254). Other parts of the same rule (§§ 740.9, 740.14, 742.7, 758.1, 758.10 and the first 0A502 revision) took effect 2026-07-23. Read the USML first: an item still described in USML Category I(e) after 2026-11-20 is not 0A501.f/0A502.f. Navigational aid — not legal advice.
